Francy McAllister uses a makeshift “ruler” to price a pile of books for a customer during the Friends of the Library annual book sale at the Kalispell Center Mall. Books were donated from libraries throughout the valley as well as some local bookstores and other individual donations. Around 25,000 books were collected in all and are being sold for $1.50 an inch on Friday and Saturday and $2 a bag on Sunday. All proceeds go to benefit the Flathead County Library system.
