“I know a physio out there and I was there with family. It was really good for me because it was my first serious injury.“I worked with the physio every day to help with my recovery and it was good to be with friends and family after that.” Hearts captain Alim Ozturk has set his sights on an injury-free 2016 after making his return from surgery.Ozturk made his comeback from hernia problems – which needed an operation in both the summer and September – when he started in Wednesday’s 3-2 win over Premiership bottom club Dundee United.Having helped Hearts to the Championship title, 2015 proved memorable for the Dutch-born centre-back, but he wants to forget about his fitness problems this year.“The first thing I am thinking about, I want to play,” the 23-year-old said. “I try to stay fit and I hope to stay fit until the end of the season. “It was a long time for me, three months. A sold-out Tynecastle, I was happy to be back.“I got the first injury and came back and was struggling again. I feel good now and I’m really happy to be back.“I missed a lot of games. I played the first eight games and missed 10 games. I’m happy that I’m back and I will try to stay fit now.”Ozturk has returned to the fold refreshed after starting his rehabilitation in Holland. “I was five or six weeks in Holland,” the former Turkey Under-21 international said.
