INDIANAPOLIS, IN – DECEMBER 02: Head coach Urban Meyer of the Ohio State Buckeyes looks on as they play the Wisconsin Badgers during the second half of the the Big Ten Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium on December 2, 2017 in Indianapolis, Indiana. (Photo by Joe Robbins/Getty Images)It is Michigan week. For Ohio State players and fans, that comes with a hard and fast rule on social media.Any letter ‘m’s’ in a word must be replaced by a Red ‘x.’Even the official football Twitter account follows this code. However, Urban Meyer–or whoever is actually running his Twitter account–forgot about this custom this afternoon. The account sent out a tweet with an untainted ‘m’ in it.“Careers are made, Legends are Born!!!” the tweet reads.Careers are made, Legends are Born!!! https://t.co/cn000wIwdg— Urban Meyer (@OSUCoachMeyer) November 19, 2018As you can see by the responses to the tweet, Ohio State fans are correcting Meyer. All in good fun, however. It is doubtful that Meyer ever actually uses “his” Twitter account, but if he’s focused on a letter this week, it probably isn’t ‘m.’ It’s ‘D’ as in defense.Ohio State’s stop unit has been woeful much of the season, and struggled mightily against Maryland on Saturday. It is a major concern. If the Buckeyes’ ‘D’ doesn’t play better, they can forget about a W against their archrivals.
